Dr. Kristy De Leon is a doctorate level Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. She has been working in the mental health field for over 20 years. She has worked at state funded agencies, drug and eating disorder treatment facilities, group practices, and most recently restarted her own practice after taking time to focus on her family.
She is a wife to a fireman engineer and has been along for the entire ride of his career, starting from the admission testing into the El Camino Fire Academy in Los Angeles. Together they have two boys who are both neurodivergent.
Dr. De Leon is a Solution Focused therapist who practices from a strength-based perspective along with integrating Scripture to guide therapeutic goals. With certifications in Trauma- Focused CBT, Grief Recovery and Sex & Couples Therapy, her work is multifaceted and rooted in approaches that swiftly address symptoms
Dr. De Leon also specializes in neurofeedback which is effective in regulating brain wave dysrhythmias that may be contributing to sleep disturbances, symptoms of anxiety and depression, difficulty in focus, memory, and emotional regulation.
